Johnathan Hankins, DT, Colts

The Broncos have so many good defensive linemen, I hesitate to really put anyone on this list.

But Johnathan Hankins is a player I have coveted for Denver since he was coming out of Ohio State and when he was let go by the Giants and Colts, I couldn’t believe it.

If you want a nose tackle of the future, look no further.

Hankins is still just 25 years old, and has a bright future as a run stuffer. The Broncos have Domata Peko under contract for one more season, so perhaps a player like Hankins could come in and provide depth and extra beef in the middle (he would also upgrade the Broncos’ backup nose tackle situation) and give them a legitimate option whenever Peko decides to move on.

Depending on the cost, this is a young player I would absolutely invest in.
