Listed at around 5-11 and 195 pounds, Williams could be a slot receiver or a returner on special teams.

In my opinion, Williams is targeted more as a slot receiver role with the Denver Broncos. That said, Isaiah McKenzie’s turnovers last season and inconsistencies will open up looks to multiple players as returners.

Williams is a player to keep a close eye on. At one point in his career with East Carolina did he come close to 1,000 yards receiving. This means there’s talent in Williams is untapped. Zach Azzani’s task will be to work with him getting him to be a slippery piece that can make an impact in multiple areas.

The slot receiver is a missing piece in Denver. But the additions of draft pick Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton beg the question the place for Williams on the team.

This is where special teams come into play. Some players are not born to be punt returners. Jordan Taylor is not a prototypical player back there, but it gets the job done. The point is, the Denver Broncos can use Williams as a serviceable player willing to make the safe catch on returns.
