Fifth Round – Troy Fumagalli
The Denver Broncos needed to add someone at tight end with the departure of Virgil Green. With Jake Butt returning from injury and Jeff Heuerman’s inconsistencies, it was a good time to go pick up a tight end.
Troy Fumagalli should be a solid addition to the Broncos tight ends. He should serve as a solid second tight end opposite to Jake Butt. He produced quite a bit during his time in Wisconsin.
His athleticism might limit him in the big leagues. I would not rule out how much production he can produce.
Grade: C+
