Strong Hands

Great route running means nothing if you can’t make the catch. What really stood out about Hamilton when he was at Penn State and was magnified at the Senior Bowl were his strong hands.

This was a common type of play Penn State ran when they were in the red zone.

Just throw the ball up, and see if Hamilton can come down with it, because he usually did.

The play here is a third and goal situation, a seemingly impossible one at that. Third and goal from the 13 yard line, and Hamilton somehow comes away with the football here. It’s an incredible catch and an example of the strong hands this kid has.

Hamilton’s combination of route running ability and sure-handedness make him a candidate to contribute a lot early on.
