Hamilton was a four-year starter at Penn State, team captain, and left school the all-time leader in receptions.

When you turn on the tape, it’s easy to see why.

Hamilton’s blend of skills make him a really intriguing fit for the Broncos, a fit the team seemed to really like after their time together at the 2018 Senior Bowl.

It was fate that brought the two together in the first place.

Hamilton originally was not on the Senior Bowl roster, but a dominant week at East-West Shrine Game practices prompted an invitation to the Senior Bowl where Hamilton was again one of the best players at the event.

He was drawing a lot of attention for the way he was dominating one-on-ones, and it was then that his draft stock began to soar.

The Broncos selected a few of the players they worked with at the Senior Bowl, but the selection of Hamilton in the fourth round was specifically intriguing because of the team’s current need for the specific skills he brings to the table.
