How Royce Freeman Impacts the Denver Broncos Roster

The Denver Broncos selected Royce Freeman with the 71st overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. How can he impact the roster?

I remember when I had in one of my early mocks that I looked at Royce Freeman. He is a special talent and can get into that secondary and get some long carries in. The Denver Broncos were in need of a running back since they released C.J. Anderson a couple of weeks back.

This is a guy who could become a big time player for the Denver Broncos. The team has selected Royce Freeman with their first third round pick in this draft. And I have to say, it was a solid decision.

Freeman can really ball out. His ability to shed those tackles and get some big time runs could really help the Denver Broncos offense. The team did not do well running the football. C.J. Anderson did have 1,000 yards rushing. But there needs to be touchdown production from the running backs.

I believe that is where Royce Freeman can come into play. His strong running abilities can really help no matter where the Broncos are on the field. He will become quite a big time runner.

How does he impact the Denver Broncos roster? He could threaten Devonate Booker and become the opening day starter at running back for the Broncos. It is going to take a lot to wrestle that starting job away from Booker.

However, if there is one player that can do it, Royce Freeman is the one to do it. I really like his chances to impact the Denver Broncos roster. He could become a feature back for years to come.
