The 2018 NFL Draft is here, and the Denver Broncos pick fifth with numerous needs across the board…

The fascination of the NFL Draft and the Denver Broncos in particular is ramping up, with both needs and wants on the roster yet to be addressed.

The Draft allows the franchise to bolster a need they addressed in free agency and add to it. The Draft itself is a phenomenal game of chess. Teams hold cards close to the vest to not reveal anything about a player they will choose.

Speaking of needs, the Denver Broncos are lathered with them across the board. We will dedicate this article to four of the biggest needs the team has currently and focus on five prospects in each category that can fill those positions. Offensive line is ranked near the top of the board. In fact, it has stayed that way for three years now.

Furthermore, linebacker will be addressed by the Broncos early in the NFL Draft. Despite the addition of Todd Davis back to the fold. While wide receiver is not a glaring hole, it is a need nonetheless. Along with cornerback and defensive line, the Denver Broncos will find a third corner project and special teamer to bring value to that group.

Remember, there are “needs” everywhere when a team goes 5-11, but to be tasked with choosing four of the biggest will be difficult. That said, let’s get to the prospects and players Denver Broncos could target at these positions in the NFL Draft.
