25. Leighton Vander Esch – Tennessee Titans

Pick by Cameron Parker

Wesley Woodyard is 32, which actually seems young, but Tennessee should look at the replacement. Sooner rather than later. Leighton Vander Esch is arguably the most instinctive linebacker in the NFL Draft. Vander Esch plays with his hair on fire nearly every play, but due to a neck issue he might fall past first round. However, he is a first round linebacker easy.

26. Da’Ron Payne – Atlanta Falcons

Pick by Ty Walden

The Falcons need some help on the defensive side of the football. Stopping the run is key in the NFL and having a player like Da’Ron Payne is a good pairing for both parties. Collapse the offensive line and you will win football games.

27. Hayden Hurst – New Orleans Saints

Pick by Andrew Wade

Ever since the Jimmy Graham for Max Unger trade, the Saints have been lacking a top tight end option. This roster has no major holes after a fantastic 2017 draft providing them the luxury to go out and get another weapon for Drew Brees. Hurst is a willing block who will immediately be able to contribute in the run game.

28. Derrius Guice – Pittsburgh Steelers

Pick by Sayre Bedinger

With the long-term future of Le’Veon Bell in question, the Steelers pick up their next workhorse back and get a player that can pair with Bell this season, keep his legs fresh, and give them an enviable one-two punch in the running game.
