Who is John Elway’s next undrafted free agent success story?

These are just a few of undrafted free agent success stories with Denver. There are many more we could cover, and there will be more to come. From last year’s class we could see a few more.

Jamal Carter, Dymonte Thomas, Jerrol Garcia-Williams and Marcus Rios each saw playing time during the 2017 season. Each will look to step up and force Vance Joseph to provide more playing time in 2018.

The 2018 draft season should be no different. With eight picks in the first five rounds and none in round six or seven, expect Denver to be working the phone lines immediately after their draft concludes. You never know when they could find the next Chris Harris Jr or Shaquil Barrett.
