Bennie Fowler became an unrestricted free agent after the Denver Broncos decided to not offer him a deal. The wide out will now play in the windy city.

Another former Denver Bronco is now playing with the Chicago Bears. Bennie Fowler has found a new home.

On Friday, Adam Schefter announced that the Michigan State wide out will change his blue and orange threads. From the Mile High City to the Windy City. Bennie Fowler will now be joining the new look Chicago Bears.

Broncos Country will remember Bennie Fowler for his two contributions in the Super Bowl run during the 2016 playoffs. He had a huge catch on third down against the Pittsburgh Steelers that kept their drive alive. It would eventually lead to a touchdown run by C.J. Anderson.

The second big play he had in the postseason was his two point conversion catch in the Super Bowl against the Carolina Panthers. He was the recipient of Peyton Manning’s final pass in the NFL.

Last season, Bennie Fowler recorded 29 catches for 350 yards and three touchdowns. A lot were hoping he would break out as the slot receiver. But it never came to fruition. He has had some good moments.

The Broncos should be in good shape with Carlos Henderson returning from injury. However, losing a player to free agency may not be easy.

Hopefully, Bennie Fowler will find some success in Chicago. With a new quarterback and head coach in the Windy City, Fowler could get a chance to do some great things.

The Denver Broncos will look to improve on their 5-11 record in 2017. They will attempt to do so without the services of Bennie Fowler. We wish Fowler good luck in the Windy City. Hope great things happen to him.
