8. Fifth round (160th overall): Kylie Fitts, EDGE, Utah

More from Predominantly Orange

The Broncos finish off this draft by grabbing an edge defender from a school they clearly have a pipeline right now.

There are more former Utah Utes on the Broncos’ roster right now than any other school in the country, and the Broncos could be getting a steal here if Fitts can stay healthy.

Right now, that is a big ‘if’.

Fitts has missed much of the past two seasons due to injury, but he has the type of pass rush ability the Broncos could really use off the edge. He’s got quickness, size, strength, and excellent length to knock the ball out of the quarterback’s hand when he comes around the edge.

He might not be a starter for a year or two, but he could develop really well behind Von Miller, Shane Ray, and Shaquil Barrett.
