The Broncos taking two linebackers in the same draft?

I wouldn’t doubt it.

The Broncos clearly lacked depth at this position last year when they needed to rotate Brandon Marshall and Todd Davis, especially given the void left behind by the injured Corey Nelson, who is now with the Eagles.

Warner is a much different style of linebacker than Josey Jewell, which could make them the team’s pairing at the position for the future.

Marshall is an all-around playmaker at the position, which is what I would consider Josey Jewell to be. Todd Davis is a run stuffer, and Warner excels being matched up in coverage and moved around the defensive formation.

I think this selection paired with the Jewell selection would give the Broncos a variety of options at linebacker and some really interesting matchup scenarios.
