2. Second Round (40th overall): Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado

The Broncos have shown more interest in Isaiah Oliver than any other non-quarterback in this draft class.

They sent John Elway, Matt Russell, Gary Kubiak, and others to the Colorado pro day, and that wasn’t just to impress Kirk Cousins’ agent Mike McCartney.

The Broncos have significant interest in Oliver, who was not only given the royal treatment at the Colorado pro day, but was brought to Denver’s facility for an official pre-draft visit.

Why are the Broncos interested in this guy?

He’s a shut-down cornerback.

There have been questions about his toughness, but the skills are there for this guy worth developing.
