The NFL has announced all 65 games for the 2018 Preseason. Who will the Denver Broncos play in August? The results may surprise you.

The Denver Broncos are just one step closer to the end of the long offseason and into training camp. Why is that so? Soon, the team will know the sixteen games in order. Until then, football fans will now get to see which four teams their squads will play in the preseason.

The NFL has released all 65 games for the preseason slate, which begins with the Hall of Fame game between the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens. Which means we finally get to see which four teams the Denver Broncos will face during the Dog Days of August.

The teams are as follows.

August 9-12: vs. Minnesota Vikings

August 16-19: vs. Chicago Bears

August 23-26: at Washington Redskins

August 30th: at Arizona Cardinals

Perhaps the least surprising thing about this schedule is the final game. The Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals seem to always match up in the preseason finale. According to the Broncos website, the two teams have faced each other in the finale in 12 of the last 14 seasons.

The biggest surprises for me were seeing the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins on the preseason schedule. It is a rare to see these teams square off the preseason. I also believe that this is as far as the Broncos have traveled east for a preseason game in a long time, if ever.

Those two preseason games also provide some interesting matchups. Case Keenum and Trevor Siemian will be going up against their former teams. The Broncos will also get to see Kirk Cousins in a Vikings uniform.

The matchup against the Washington Redskins will also see the Broncos take on Alex Smith. The Broncos have seen plenty of Smith during his time with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Official dates will be announced when the full schedule is released. Get excited Broncos Country.
