The Denver Broncos lost Aqib Talib as one of the strongest vocal leaders to the team. Mayfield not only gives the team a strong locker room voice, but secures potentially the strongest position in the NFL.

Mayfield has confidence to start over Case Keenum or learn under the new signee. The fact is, the Broncos will have secured the position like the Philadelphia Eagles did with Wentz/Foles. This is also nothing new to Keenum who witnessed the Los Angeles Rams to draft Jared Goff.

Mayfield has the makings to be a spectacular quarterback under Bill Musgrave.
