How do the Denver Broncos’ drafts compare to the AFC West?

Kansas City is shooting for a fourth straight playoff appearance in 2018. This is because of their draft success since 2011. In seven seasons, they have drafted the most elite starters (five), the most starters (ten), and the least amount of day one and two busts (six).
Their young and extremely talented offensive was almost entirely acquired through the draft. It’s worth mentioning that despite only playing one game (where he shredded the Broncos secondary), I am counting Patrick Mahomes as a starter in this analysis. He has all the tools to make me wary of facing him twice every season for the next decade.
Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt, and Justin Houston were added in the third round and now are widely considered top five talents at their positions. Tyreek Hill, one of the fastest guys in the NFL, was picked up in the fifth round. To top it off, three of the five starting offensive linemen for Kansas City were also acquired through the draft.
This biggest misses out of Arrowhead have been Jonathon Baldwin, Dee Ford, and KeiVarae Russell who didn’t even survive his first training camp as a third rounder before being cut.
