Bashaud Breeland, CB

More from Predominantly Orange

Bashaud Breeland is somehow still a free agent despite all the potential he has shown over the past few seasons with the Washington Redskins.

Breeland has eight career interceptions and would bring some playmaking ability to the Broncos’ defensive backfield.

We don’t know what Tramaine Brock is going to bring to the table, and even after the Broncos signed Brock, there were reports they would be looking to add another cornerback.

With a number of young players already on the roster, getting a player like Breeland on a two or three-year contract could help the Broncos shore up their depth at this position for the foreseeable future, and would continue to allow Chris Harris Jr. to work the slot whenever the Broncos are in nickel situations.

Breeland may prefer a more full-time role with the Broncos perhaps seeking only a no. 3 corner, but there’s no doubt he’d be a fantastic value at this point in free agency.
