Third Round (99th overall): Kemoko Turay, EDGE, Rutgers

Why Kemoko Turay?

The Broncos need depth in the pass rush department. They have obviously three guys right now in Von Miller, Shaquil Barrett, and Shane Ray who are proven edge players in the NFL, but Barrett is in a contract year, and Ray could be too if the Broncos don’t pick up his option.

Turay is raw but one of the more impressive pass rushers in this year’s draft class. The Broncos need someone that can line up behind Von Miller and keep pressure on the quarterback when their defensive MVP needs a breather.

Turay could come in from day one and provide pass rush depth, and he has the frame to really develop into an impressive edge player.

In the NFL, you need to be three or four deep off the edge, and this would help the Broncos get there.
