Plenty of scenarios see the Denver Broncos going quarterback with the fifth pick. If one is chosen early, how would that impact Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly?
The Denver Broncos want to get this draft right. No more messing around. Even with the signing of Case Keenum, there are plenty of belief that the team will still draft a quarterback with the fifth overall pick. That, in turn, could impact the other two quarterbacks on the roster.
As it stands now, Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly will be entering the offseason workouts as the second and third string quarterbacks. However, that could change if the Denver Broncos decide to go quarterback in the first or second round.
Would drafting a quarterback change the fate of Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly? There is always that chance. I have heard from Vance Joseph on both of these quarterbacks.
Joseph said that Chad Kelly is in good shape — “he’s lean” — and has been back at the team facility for the past two weeks working out on his own. He praised how Kelly was around every day last year, in meetings, learning even though he couldn’t play.

It looks as if both of these quarterbacks have been given a lot of praise lately. But what does the future hold for both of them? Let’s dig right into it.
