Quarterback

Current starter: Case Keenum

Potential starter options in-house: Paxton Lynch

Developmental options: Chad Kelly

The Broncos currently have three quarterbacks, including a former first round pick and a big money free agent signing, and yet they are strongly considering drafting a player at this position with their first round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

It’s hard to blame them.

The Broncos still don’t really know what they have in Paxton Lynch, which is incredibly unfortunate. The team believes in Case Keenum as their starter, obviously, but only signed him to a two-year deal.

Chad Kelly is talented, but thus far unproven.

In what is considered the best quarterback class to come along since 2012, the Broncos are expected to pick a player at this position high.
