Even with Case Keenum in the fold, the Denver Broncos may not be done looking at the quarterback position. But, is the fifth pick the wrong place to look?

The Denver Broncos have been on the search for the franchise quarterback ever since Peyton Manning left the void. So having multiple quarterbacks with first round grades and a top five pick, it should be a no brainer to pick one of them right? This decision won’t be as black and white as it seems.

Denver already brought in Case Keenum who John Elway has announced as the starter for the upcoming season. The NFL is a fickle place and the pledge can change in a second, but for now we’ll assume that remains the same. Still, at five, they could look for more of long-term solution.

Most franchise quarterbacks come via the first round of the draft. seven of the twelve playoff teams had a first round quarterback.
