Roquan Smith- ILB- Georgia
Ok, I realize that linebacker isn’t a glaring need for the Denver Broncos, but with Smith’s talent, it would be hard to pass him up if, for some reason, the Broncos trade down, out of their #5 pick.
Smith is a speed freak. Although undersized at 6’1″, he is fast. 4.51 fast. That’s just two one hundredths of a second slower than a certain Denver Broncos linebacker who wears #58 on his jersey.
The Broncos’ linebacker corp is already pretty strong. Add Smith, and the position could be considered dominant for the Broncos. The addition of Smith would have a instant impact for a defense that is already considered one of the best.
