When it comes to the fifth pick in this year’s draft, the Denver Broncos have quite a few options to choose from in regards to the spot.
With the 2018 NFL Draft still 36 days away, a lot can happen. Will the Denver Broncos trade up, stay where they are, or trade down? Denver is in need of a quarterback. Will they take one early in the NFL Draft, or wait until a later round?
We have already seen one trade occur. The New York Jets, who originally owned the #6 pick, traded up to #3, originally owned by the Indianapolis Colts. I think Denver is in a great spot with the fifth pick, but I can absolutely see them moving.
Every team has more than one need, and there are some great players who could be available when it’s the Broncos’ time to select a core player.
Still, even with solid players taken before their pick, Denver has some solid options to choose from.
