The Denver Broncos find themselves at a tough spot at the wide receiver position as Jordan Taylor underwent hip surgery and will miss a lot of time.

Jordan Taylor has been one of the most interesting names on the Denver Broncos roster since he helped Peyton Manning with his recovery. He had a big season in 2016. There is no doubt he could battle for a position on the 2018 roster. However, he will be off to a slow start.

According to Mike Klis over at 9 News, Jordan Taylor underwent surgery to repair his hip. The completed procedure is expected to keep him out of Organized Team Activities and Mini Camp. It is uncertain as to if the procedure will keep him out of training camp. This makes the status of Jordan Taylor worth keeping an eye on.

It has amazed Broncos Country how the team has handled the wide receiver position so far in the draft. We saw the team decline Bennie Fowler and made him an unrestricted free agent. To add on to that, Cody Latimer signed with the New York Giants on Monday.

With Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders listed as the starters, it has been an uneasy time for the fans of the Denver Broncos to not have a clear number three receiver. There is Carlos Henderson and Isaiah McKenzie. Henderson was on injured reserve last season and McKenzie was a nightmare on special teams.

With the Jordan Taylor injury, it would be wise for the Broncos to really look at free agency or the draft to at least find a player that will help the team. At the very least have someone while Taylor recovers.

Broncos Country is feeling uneasy about the free agency period that Denver has had. Hopefully Jordan Taylor has a speedy, but healthy recovery.
