Fourth Round (109th overall): Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon

There are a lot of questions surrounding the Broncos’ running back position going forward, and they have found a number of really nice players from the West coast.

Royce Freeman has been incredibly productive at the collegiate level despite playing through injury and playing in a scheme this past season that wasn’t the best fit for his style as a running back.

He shocked a lot of people by running a 4.54 in the 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine, and also ranking among the best at his position in this year’s class in the short shuttle, three-cone drill, and in the 60-yard shuttle, proving his quickness.

Freeman is a touchdown scoring machine, and I think when fully healthy, he’s going to be a steal.

In my opinion, he would push for starting duties right away as a rookie.
