Julius Thomas, TE

The Denver Broncos and Julius Thomas would have to let bygones be bygones if this move were to happen, but I don’t think that’s impossible.

Thomas signed a big money contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars when his four years in Denver were up, and injuries have really plagued his playing career.

Despite that, Thomas is still capable of making an impact in the passing game, and the Broncos need a veteran pass catcher at the position with a few young players coming up and Jake Butt hopefully set to take over full-time duties in the near future.

Thomas was exceptional in 2013-2014 for the Broncos, racking up 24 touchdown catches in those two seasons.

Even if he could contribute 30-plus catches, I think this is a reunion worth looking into. The Broncos need depth and a veteran presence at tight end. Thomas proved in last year’s game against the Broncos themselves that he can still get the job done.
