Eric Decker, WR

Decker was a third round pick of the Denver Broncos back in their 2010 NFL Draft class, which also included one of his best friends, current Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas.

When they were at their best, Decker and Thomas with Peyton Manning throwing passes were borderline indefensible.

Decker played 47 percent of his snaps out of the slot last season with the Tennessee Titans, and he’s still an effective weapon in the red zone when healthy. The Broncos have reportedly been interested in a veteran to come in and be a number three/four receiver, and they specifically need someone that can come in and play the slot.

I think they’ll make a move like this (even if it’s not Decker) to help bring along Carlos Henderson, and I can think of no one better than Decker to come in and provide some stability at the position.

He can play inside and outside, and he’s proven himself to be reliable. On a one year contract, why would you not make this move?
