The Denver Broncos have their quarterback in Case Keenum. With that said, Paxton Lynch will enter Training Camp as the backup, according to Vance Joseph.

Paxton Lynch has gone through a rough patch in his first two seasons in Denver. Inconsistencies and injuries have kept him from finding success on the field. This could be his last season to prove something, if he can get on the field.

According to Vance Joseph, Paxton Lynch will begin training camp as the number two quarterback. Of course, anything can happen between that time. Lynch did show some optimism in the final game of the 2017 season. He completed 21 of 31 passes for 254 yards. He had two touchdown passes and two interceptions.

That game proved that he has some promise going into the 2018 season. But like I said, anything can happen from March to August. We still have the NFL Draft coming up. And if predictions are true, the Broncos can still get a quarterback at number five.

If John Elway decides that he is okay with his quarterbacks, then Paxton Lynch could be safe going into training camp. But I would not be resting easy this offseason. That is something that Lynch appears to not be doing.

Normally, year three is when it can be determined if a player is going to be a big time playmaker or a bust. Since Lynch is a first round pick, it has been shocking he has not been able to surpass Trevor Siemian during his time here to start.

It will be even more difficult for Paxton Lynch to see the field with Case Keenum in the mix. He will have to prove himself in training camp if he plans to stay in the Mile High City for the time being.

It is do or die for Paxton Lynch. Time to start making moves.
