Free Agency: Denver Broncos To Show Interest In Eric Ebron
The stretch tight end is a wrinkle that has been missing since the absence of Julius Thomas for the Denver Broncos. Eric Ebron could help…
Julius Thomas was a dominant receiving threat with the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning. Now with the recent release of Eric Ebron, the Broncos might entertain the idea of signing him.
Ebron has been subject to trade rumors over the years with the Detroit Lions. Now the Broncos can have him at their own price.
Ebron is a very gifted athlete that’s dealt with injuries and inability to have his God given talent translate to the field. It may be best for Ebron to see a change of scenery and team that will rely heavily on the tight end.
Denver Broncos tight end Jake Butt factors to be in their plans, but the franchise need that difference maker.

The Broncos’ most reliable tight end last year was AJ Derby. Derby is no longer a Bronco. There’s uncertainty surrounding Jeff Heuerman and there’s a good chance he won’t be retained. Virgil Green was the most successful blocker on the team, but expect that to new nod to go to Jake Butt.
Also, Green just signed with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Ebron adds intrigue to a tight end market that features Tyler Eifert, another possibility in Denver. Look for Denver to be involved with Eifert and Ebron. Either of them would be tremendous fits in Denver.
Ebron might get the nod now over Eifert due a better athletic makeup. However, if healthy, Eifert can be one of the best tight ends in the NFL.
