Tyler Eifert, TE, Bengals

I don’t know if the Broncos will be the team to do this, but whatever team decides to take a flyer on Eifert is making one of the most shrewd moves in free agency, in my opinion.

I hope it’s not the New England Patriots…

Eifert is one of the best receiving tight ends in the league when healthy, but good health has obviously been hard to come by for him.

If you could sign Eifert to an incentive-laden deal, or a ‘prove it’ contract for one or two years, that would be ideal. This guy’s ability to be a mismatch in the passing game is absolutely worth investing in, and the Broncos need that third option in the passing game.

Help should come in the form of Jake Butt and Carlos Henderson, but Eifert is a guy who has proven he can rack up touchdowns.

Imagine Eifert joining forces with Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders for the next two seasons…
