Justin Pugh, OL, Giants

Justin Pugh, who is just 27 years old, fits the profile of what the Denver Broncos need on the offensive line much better than Nate Solder, who signed a massive four-year contract with the New York Giants to be their left tackle.

Pugh can play guard or tackle for the Broncos, and up to this point, his market hasn’t really developed at least not publicly.

I figured Pugh would be a lock to go to Tom Coughlin and the Jaguars, but they went after Andrew Norwell of the Panthers instead, a player that was rumored to be a lock to go to the Giants.

The Giants are obviously not going to bring Pugh back at this point, and many of the big deals for offensive linemen have already been given out. The market for Pugh has been oddly quiet and the Broncos haven’t really been connected to any other linemen besides preliminary interest in Nate Solder.

That would seem to indicate to me they are willing to spend a little money to fix the right tackle position, and Pugh would be a great fit.

He was dominant against the Broncos’ vaunted defensive front in a prime time game last season.
