Ndamukong Suh will be released by the Miami Dolphins and he could see the Denver Broncos as a landing spot with Vance Joseph here…
A pairing of Denver Broncos defensive line coach Bill Kollar and Ndamukong Suh would be ideal for what Kollar could get out of Suh.
In Detroit, Jim Schwartz created a very hard-nosed defensive lineman. Suh the football player gives the Denver Broncos that character in locker room. He is one teammates can feed off of with his play.
Suh is a unique talent that rushes the passer about as good as anyone on the line. However his best asset is creating opportunities for guys like Derek Wolfe, Shelby Harris, Adam Gotsis, DeMarcus Walker, and many others. He has been that way his entire career.
Suh also has familiarity with Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph.
As a matter of fact, Joseph was the defensive coordinator with the Miami Dolphins during the 2016 season. In fact, Suh lauded Joseph when the Broncos hired him in 2017. Here’s what he said:
"I think I learned a lot from him, just in regards to how he views putting the defensive line and the back seven together, and the front seven and the back four together. I think he’s an excellent coach…We probably had a new lineup every single week this past season, and he’s a guy that knows how to adjust and adapt.Suh on Vance Joseph (2017)"
Joseph did not have a great first campaign with the Broncos. Bringing in a familiar face to help add some more juice to the defense might help.
After his release, Suh might want to sign some where he has stability and playing with Joseph again seems like a great idea.
After the glowing praise of Joseph, I’d keep an eye on Suh rumors attaching him to Denver.
