Perhaps the most sought after quarterback this offseason, Kirk Cousins might not plan on visiting any teams while he selects his team.

There is no doubt the Denver Broncos need a quarterback. If they want to go after Kirk Cousins, do not expect him to fly out to Denver during the offseason.

According to Dianna Russini over at ESPN, the longtime Washington Redskins quarterback does not plan on taking any visits during the free agency period. Now, here is something that makes things interesting.

Russini mentions that the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings will do everything to sway Kirk Cousins to their cities. But Russini does not mention the Denver Broncos among the teams lobbying for him.

Could this mean that the Denver Broncos are already out of the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes?

Everything is speculation up to this point. But if this is true, John Elway might have to start looking at the next plan on whom to sign as a quarterback. There have been many rumors around that it appears it will be Minnesota that will win the sweepstakes. However, it is still all speculation at this point.

Teams will be allowed to talk to Kirk Cousins on Monday. That said, the next couple of days should give us a little bit more clarity. When it comes down to it, the chances are it will come down to money and years given.

In order for the Denver Broncos to have a better shot at signing Cousins, they will need to free up some more money. Trading C.J. Anderson and Trevor Siemian have been options that have floated around. Even releasing a few players could be on the table for John Elway.

It appears as if the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes will be coming to an end soon. Will the Denver Broncos be the winners? Stay tuned.
