The Denver Broncos are exploring all options in the draft. The team might look at a cornerback and Isaiah Oliver is a player that has drawn interest.

With all the news of Aqib Talib not returning to Denver, the Broncos might be in the market for a third cornerback. Isaiah Oliver is one player in the draft that has drawn interest.

First reported by Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post, Isaiah Oliver visited with the Denver Broncos at the Scouting Combine. The Broncos brass also went to Colorado University’s Pro Day to examine some of the talent within the Buffaloes. I have to say, he is quite an interesting prospect that could fit well with the No Fly Zone.

Isaiah Oliver is a cornerback who also had some duties as a punt returner. It would be ideal for Denver to have him since he would only operate in the nickel corner slot. I would absolutely be okay with this draft pick.

There is only one catch for me. I do not think he would be worth the fifth pick of the draft. There is however, a situation that could bring him to Denver. Assuming that the Broncos grab their quarterback in free agency, they could very well trade down in the draft.

My ideal situation would be to package a deal with the Buffalo Bills to acquire their two first round picks later on to let them select fifth overall. The Broncos would have to possibility give up something else if they acquired both first round picks.

If that situation was to work, I can see the Broncos using both picks on Will Hernandez (if available) and Isaiah Oliver. I mean, Oliver is a baller. He could really help out the No Fly Zone.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I would not rule out a cornerback of this magnitude in the first round.
