Fourth Round (106th overall): Fred Warner, LB, BYU

The Broncos are continually looking for matchup players for their defense, as they are a team that struggles badly to match up in the passing game with opposing running backs and tight ends.

There are rumors that the team is trying to acquire Su’a Cravens from the Redskins, which would obviously help eliminate this need, but in this situation, we’re not assuming anything.

Therefore, adding Warner would be a solid option for the Broncos. In four collegiate seasons, Warner racked up 262 total tackles, 32.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, seven interceptions, and three forced fumbles.

He makes plays all over the field, and is really that hybrid linebacker/defensive back type the NFL is really utilizing heavily in today’s game.
