Denver Broncos: Five sensible free agent cornerback options
Aaron Colvin, Jacksonville Jaguars (age: 26)
2017 Stats: 16 games (5 starts), 44 total tackles, 5 PBU
Aaron Colvin coming over from the Jacksonville Jaguars is one of my favorite possibilities for the Denver Broncos in free agency.

Colvin has not picked off a pass yet in his NFL career, but I feel like that’s about to change. At just 26 years old, Colvin seems to really be coming into his own following an unfortunate start to his NFL career, when he hurt his knee and was unable to perform for teams prior to the 2014 NFL Draft.
Colvin might have been a day two pick were it not for his knee injury, and the Jaguars cashed in on his draft fall by picking him in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.
He’s proven over the past four years that he’s capable of playing inside or outside, blitzing and playing in the box, and I think with an expanded role (Denver had three corners playing over 70 percent of snaps last year) he could prove his skills as a ball hawk as well.
This would be an exciting pickup, but because of the fact that he played in Jacksonville’s defense, Colvin might be one of the more hyped free agents and could price himself out of Denver’s range.
