Third Round (pick 1/2): Martinas Rankin, OL, Mississippi State

The Broncos address the offensive line here even after making some moves in free agency with a guy that could develop into a starter at multiple positions.

I would think Rankin could easily become a starting right tackle in the NFL, but many scouts and evaluators also think a move inside could benefit him.

Like Garett Bolles last year, Rankin has a background as a dominant JUCO player that played at a high level when given a chance in a major conference.

Against the SEC, Rankin was a stud. He played injured this past season (high ankle sprain) and was still a first-team All SEC selection.

He’s got good feet and length, and I think could be a steal at this point of the draft.
