Brock Osweiler is headed for free agency next month. However, the quarterback says that he wants to remain and retire as a Denver Bronco.

In 2015, Brock Osweiler was one of the main players responsible for guiding the Denver Broncos to their third Super Bowl title in franchise history. Since he was benched for Peyton Manning, he has gone through a roller coaster of a career.

He played for the Houston Texans and was on the team for the Cleveland Browns. Osweiler found himself back in Denver before the 2017 season began. While he did not record a win in the 2017 campaign, but did lead the Broncos to their final win of the season against the Indianapolis Colts.

Now, likely headed for free agency, the Broncos signal caller wants to stay in Denver and possibly retire with the team?

That is what Osweiler said in an interview with Mike Klis. He has expressed his interest in returning to the Denver Broncos, even to finish his career with the Mile High City.

"“I told John at the end of the season that I would love to remain a Bronco. And I’d love to finish my career as a Bronco. I told him regardless of what role I have, being a Bronco is something that I take great pride in.”"

I admire Brock Osweiler’s kind gesture and dedication to the Denver Broncos. However, the chances of him returning to the team are slim to none. I honestly say the only way he returns is if the veteran quarterback options are slim. It intensifies if the team drafts a quarterback in April’s draft.

Osweiler has done some good things for this franchise when called on. But there have been some pretty bad ones too. The offseason will tell us where he goes, but I just do not see it being in Denver.
