Denver Broncos: Potential diamonds in the rough on the roster

Offensive Tackle: Cyrus Kouandjio

I’ve beat this drum so much I think I’ve worn a hole in it, but it’s important that we take Kouandjio’s situation on this roster seriously.

The Broncos didn’t get a look at him in a game setting until the final week of the season, when he started against the Kansas City Chiefs and played extremely well, but that may have been enough for them to be comfortable with him as their swing tackle (at worst) moving forward.

Kouandjio — a former second round pick of the Buffalo Bills (2014) — signed a two-year deal with the Broncos last season, so obviously this scouting department sees something in him and that can’t be overlooked.

At just 24 years old, this could be one of the Broncos’ top underrated assets.
