Running Back: De’Angelo Henderson

Similar to the Chad Kelly pick at quarterback, Henderson could almost seem like a ‘default’ pick at running back, but he truly is a diamond in the rough.

He might not be if the Broncos had utilized him this past season, which they certainly could have. We got a taste in the final game of the season of just how capable Henderson is of playing at this level, and it left Broncos fans longing for more.

Henderson has one of the most uncommon and interesting size/speed combinations of any back I’ve evaluated, checking in under 5-foot-9, but running a sub-4.5 second 40-yard dash at around 210 pounds.

Guys with that kind of bulk and shorter legs are typically not as fast as Henderson in a straight line, and almost certainly don’t combine that type of size and speed with great foot quickness.

This is a player I feel is going to be a difference-maker for the 2018 Broncos.
