Fourth Round (pick 2/2): Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon

The Broncos are apparently likely to move on from C.J. Anderson this offseason, elevating Devontae Booker and De’Angelo Henderson up the depth chart.

With that being said, the Broncos would need a player that is capable of eating up carries.

Royce Freeman has certainly proven himself capable of doing that.

Freeman had so many touches at Oregon, I think it could very well drop him down the draft board a little bit, but on day three, there’s not a better value to me.

This is a player that has shown the ability to score the football at an incredible rate, and utilize his size to make tackling him very difficult, especially between the tackles where I feel he is most effective.

This is a player that can move the chains, and with the offensive line in Denver being put together in this particular scenario, I think Freeman could eventually excel and start.
