Quenton Nelson- 5th Overall

45. OG. Notre Dame. QuentonNelson. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 5

First up is the Notre Dame guard that has been the main focus for Broncos Country. If the team were to find their quarterback in free agency, then this is the pick that makes the most sense.

Nelson’s game at the college level was awesome to watch. The only team that I can see that would prevent this from happening is if the New York Giants were to draft him. In my mock, the Giants selected Baker Mayfield with their second overall pick.

I would look at Nelson to become a starter right away at left guard. This would allow Ron Leary to move to right guard, his natural position.

This is the first move in the hopes that the Broncos offensive line can make some adjustments to help out the quarterback and running game.
