Thank You’s

When it comes to 1,000 articles, you will meet a lot of fun people. I like to think of every article as part of a short story that hooks people in and wanting to read more. I was not quite sure how to connect with the fans. My first year writing I tended to let myself get my footing. The 2015 season provided some connections with some fans. Some of them I have developed such great friendships with.

Of course, my co-workers and family have played a big part in this too. So, here I go into my thank you’s.

First and foremost, I want to thank my Mom and Family. When it came to coming out of school and looking for a job, I thought writing would help me get my foot in the door. They have been nothing but supportive as I adventure through this life and begin a new journey towards becoming a teacher by day and a sports writer by night. So, thanks to them for keeping me going and always looking for new doors to open.

Second, I want to thank Sayre Bedinger. I would not be where I am today if it was not for him discovering my writing talents. He believed in me and my potential when no one else did. I am so happy to have made the switch over to FanSided. He’s been my partner in crime for the last few years. I know we have yet to meet, but we will soon. It’s on my Bucketlist.

Next, I want to thank all the writers that I have had the pleasure to work with or talk to. My current Predominantly Orange crew of Cody Roark, Cameron Parker, Derek Esquibel, and Brad James. You guys are awesome. Some of the former writers at Predominantly Orange I have enjoyed chatting with. And other writers outside of Predominantly Orange. You all are doing an amazing job and I hope that we can continue to chat and talk what is going on in our minds when it comes to the Broncos.

I really want to thank the many Twitter Broncos Fans that I have gotten to connect with. Some I had the pleasure to meet in real life. Our chats on the Broncos and outside of them have been awesome. The podcasts I got to be on have been awesome. Especially The Captain Bronco Boozecast. That one was a lot of fun. Thanks to Scott Graham for having me on during our Super Bowl season and other times.

To all the individuals who I got to chat with on the Broncos Fanzone. Thank You so much for making the segment a huge success. It will return in 2018.

Perhaps my favorite moment so far has been the opportunity to fly out to Denver for a game. With that said, I want to thank the following people who made that experience worthwhile. Thank You to James Hernandez and Sarah Garner who welcomed me to Denver that first night with dinner. Ron Greco, Christine Rasch-Chabot, Mike Dopheide, and Bridget Shoemaker who made the experience at my first home game quite amazing.

Kelly Kern, Joyce Fisher, Sheleen Meador, and Leo Chavez: Thank you guys for the amazing time in Denver. We made quite the group during the 2016 adventure to Denver. I hope that we can do it again.

And to all my readers who are reading this article and have read any of the other 999 articles I have posted. I thank you as well. While we may not agree with some of the topics, I will always value and respect your opinions. Thank You guys. If not for you, I would not be here.

Cheers to 1,000 articles. Here is to the next 1,000 hopefully! I am looking forward to the next step towards my career as a Denver Broncos blogger. Cheers and Thank You!
