Kirk Cousins, Washington Redskins

Kirk Cousins is the best veteran quarterback available in free agency.

That’s not really disputable, as Cousins ranks in the top five or top 10 of every major statistical category since the 2015 season, when he became the full-time starter in Washington.

Cousins looks like a guy that can be a franchise quarterback for the next 8-10 years and that’s an investment worth making, in my opinion.

The Broncos would have to pay Cousins top QB money, which makes sense given players of his caliber and his age don’t hit the open market hardly ever.

Cousins should get his money while he can, and I think the Broncos will be among the teams willing to pay up.

If the Broncos sign Cousins, I think he helps make them a Super Bowl contender right away, and his price tag will be in the ballpark of $28-30 million annually.
