Sam Bradford, Minnesota Vikings

At 30 years old, Sam Bradford is one of the more intriguing players available in free agency this year.

There’s no way the Vikings are going to franchise tag him at the nearly $24 million price tag, given his lengthy injury history, but he also might be their best quarterback when healthy.

Bradford was looking really good through the Vikings’ first two games of the season before he went down with injury, and in general had looked really good for Minnesota in his time there.

He completed nearly 72 percent of his passes in 15 games with the Vikings in 2016, and were it not for his being so prone to injuries, he might be my favorite player the Broncos could pursue this offseason.

If the Broncos are unable to get Kirk Cousins, I think they could get Bradford at about $10 million per season, and that would be a worthy investment. Even if Bradford was only able to play half of a season, the Broncos would obviously use a high draft pick on a quarterback that could be considered the future of the team, so they would not be left hanging out to dry.
