Denver Broncos: Five underrated free agent options
Marqise Lee, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
If the Broncos are dead set on moving on from one of Demaryius Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders (and I don’t think they are) there’s a chance they could be searching for a new no. 2 receiver.
It just so happens that one of my personal favorites from the 2014 NFL Draft — Marqise Lee of the Jaguars — is hitting unrestricted free agency and will be looking for an expanded role elsewhere.

Lee has sort of had a couple of ‘breakout’ years for the Jaguars these past two seasons, starting 20 games and averaging 13 yards per reception with six total receiving touchdowns.
I think at his age, Lee is going to continue to improve and could be someone the Broncos look to as a younger, cheaper option than Emmanuel Sanders.
Also, perhaps the Broncos are not satisfied with just Thomas, Sanders, and their questionable depth from last season.
The Broncos have Carlos Henderson coming back from injury and could re-sign Cody Latimer, but maybe they want to ease Henderson into a role this year and are willing to invest in Lee as that true number three option in the offense, or move one of Sanders/Thomas to the slot on a more full-time basis.
There are options here, but I think Lee is an intriguing high upside free agent option that isn’t likely to break the bank.
