Nickell Robey-Coleman, CB, Los Angeles Rams

If Aqib Talib is let go by the Broncos this offseason, they are going to have some decisions to make at cornerback.

Do they just bump last year’s third round pick Brendan Langley up into a bigger role and see how things go?

I’m not so sure they won’t look to a cheaper alternative in free agency, and Nickell Robey-Coleman is one of the better nickel cornerbacks in the NFL and is only 26 years old.

A move like this would allow the Broncos to keep Chris Harris Jr. outside, as well as bump Bradley Roby to the outside permanently.

We all know how much the nickel corner plays in Denver, so Robey-Coleman wouldn’t have to take a demotion in terms of his role to come play in Denver. As a matter of fact, he would probably play more than most ‘starters’.

I think this is a way the Broncos could soften the blow of losing Talib at a fraction of the cost.
