Recap

This would obviously be a very crazy situation for the Broncos to be in.

First of all, to sign Kirk Cousins to a big money deal, but then to come away with a major haul in the draft via trade?

That would really be something.

It would set you up to build in the trenches and also supplement a number of positions you feel are areas of weakness.

In Hernandez and Crosby, you would be getting two new starters on the offensive line, and players that can have success right away.

With Samuels, you add another big time weapon to the offense both in the running game and in the passing game.

Kyzir White would bring some more attitude to the defensive backfield, and Josey Jewell gives you a starter along with Brandon Marshall at linebacker.

To me, this — at least positionally — could be pretty close to what the Broncos would do in a situation where they got Kirk Cousins. And of course if they were able to make a trade and get an additional first round pick in 2019?

Well that would just be a cherry on top.
