Second Round (pick 1/2): Kyzir White, S, West Virginia

For the past two years, the Broncos have taken an offensive player with their top pick, then a defensive player with their next pick.

In 2016, they took Paxton Lynch, then Adam Gotsis.

In 2017, they took Garett Bolles and then DeMarcus Walker.

In 2018, they go Will Hernandez, then Kyzir White.

White is a fearless safety prospect who would replace T.J. Ward’s role as the ‘enforcer’ in the Broncos’ defense.

Denver has a couple of intriguing guys who are already on the roster as depth at safety, but I think White is a solution long-term to pair on the back end with Justin Simmons, and this would allow Denver to use Will Parks in more of a nickel/dime role.

White has great size at 6-foot-2, nearly 220 pounds, and as you can see in the video — he destroys people.
