Josh Rosen looks to be the most ready to take his talents to the next level. If the Denver Broncos want to draft him, they might need to trade up.

This field of quarterbacks looks very intriguing for the Denver Broncos. Free agency, the draft. Many opportunities to look at a veteran presence or raw talent in 2018. One name that has been generating some buzz is Josh Rosen.

When I see Rosen, he looks to be the most NFL ready quarterback in this draft. He looks as if he could have a very successful career in the NFL. The Denver Broncos have shown interest in drafting the UCLA product.

However, I believe the only way Denver can draft him is by trading up. It would not be surprising to see him gone within the first two picks. The New York Giants are possibly looking for a quarterback once Eli Manning hangs up the cleats.

If for some reason the Giants do not end up drafting a quarterback, Denver could sneak up to the number three pick and trade with the Indianapolis Colts. That is about as high as I think they could trade up without having to sacrifice much. Perhaps a few draft picks and a player could help.

That scenario would only work if Josh Rosen is not gone by then. At this stage, I would not be surprised if he is taken first or second overall.

Would Denver trade to get Rosen if he falls? I can see it happening. It depends on how the offseason goes for the Broncos. Kirk Cousins not playing for the Broncos could play a key part in that decision.

This offseason will be important to the Denver Broncos. Where the domino’s fall will impact John Elway’s plans for the franchise.
